Paws & Rest

Paws & Rest sprouted in our minds when we vacationed at the Grand Canyon and our beloved Dilly Bear had to stay alone at the kennel instead of in the cabin with us. Avid road trippers and dog owners, and frustrated by the lack of inviting pet-friendly lodging, we began to dream of the perfect place to go with our dog. A vision of a small resort with individual cabins, sumptuous RV spaces, family play area, fenced mini-dog park, and cozy kennels quickly formed. The canyon country near the Utah/Arizona border, with its numerous attractions and parks, provides a perfect setting for Paws & Rest.
Paws & Rest caters to the traveler who can’t bear to leave the pet behind while the family vacations. We support a pet and eco-friendly way of life and will promote humane treatment of all creatures by supporting education and rehabilitation programs locally and worldwide.

Belle Wulfe is shy around new humans, but she loves to meet new canine friends.
